By Chris Shaw
April 14, 2011

On Saturday, April 23, Dr. Robert L. Lawson, Ed.D., will present Maximizing Your Potential at Ohio University Zanesville. This one-day course offers strategies geared towards helping participants get from where they are in life to where they want to be.

This highly informative, powerful, and interactive seminar explores several key factors of success, such as persistence, positive habit formation, how to handle critics and negative self-talk, and the importance of follow through in the pursuit of advancement.

Dr. Lawson has served as an instructor for Gallia Academy High School, Director of Continuing Education at both Marshall University and Shawnee State University, and as an Educational Consultant. He is a well-known motivational speaker and business trainer.

The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in Elson Hall Room W100 at Ohio University Zanesville. There is a $146 fee for the course, which counts toward one hour of undergraduate college academic credit.

For more information or to register for the course, contact Cindy Oliver in the OU Zanesville Office of Continuing Education, at 740-588-1400 or oliverc@ohio.edu.
