Discover Panama Flora and Culture
On Thursday, April 21, Dr. Mohannad Al-Saghir, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Ohio University Zanesville, will present Exploring Panama. Dr. Al- Saghir will share information about Panama, focusing on the area’s flora and culture as it relates to a vacation destination or for science/biology education.
The program, which is part of Ohio University Zanesville’s Third Thursday Event series, will be held at Ohio University-Zanesville in the Elson Hall Auditorium at 7 pm. The Third Thursday series provides free cultural, diversity and educational programming during the months of January through November. The event is free and open to the community.
