Zanesville Campus Nursing Alumni Invited
to Celebrate 40 Year Anniversary of Program
Ohio University-Zanesville nursing faculty and staff invite associate degree nursing graduates from the past 40 years to celebrate the program's 40th anniversary during May.
Alumni and their families are invited to attend a Nursing Alumni Picnic on Friday, May 14, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Zanesville Campus on the Campus Green. The celebration will include food, fellowship and fun for the entire family.
The picnic will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. with family activities scheduled at 6 p.m. In addition, Rif Raff will take the stage from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for an evening of fun and celebration.
Anyone who graduated from the Ohio University-Zanesville Associate Degree Nursing program is encouraged to come and reconnect with others who have dedicated their career to helping others through the nursing profession.
In addition to the Nursing Alumni Picnic, all nursing professionals in the community are invited to attend an inspirational program by Faith Roberts, RN, BSN entitled "It's in Every One of Us." The free program will be held on Thursday, May 13, beginning at 4:30 p.m. There will be a raffle and silent auction with all proceeds benefiting the OU Zanesville Nursing Scholarship program.
The final event during the Nursing Alumni weekend is for the class of 1970, the first graduating class of the Ohio University-Zanesville Nursing program. The "first class" luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 15 at noon.
