Regional campuses welcome new faculty and staff
Just as fall brings new students to OHIO campuses across the region, new faculty and staff join the communities of our regional campuses or return to campus in new roles. A warm OHIO welcome/congratulations to the following people who have recently joined regional campuses or changed positions.
Among the new faces are two new campus deans, Donna Burgraff at Chillicothe and James Smith at Lancaster. Both of these campuses, along with the Southen campus, have recently announced appointments to the position of assicate dean, too.
Paul Abraham joined the Lancaster campus during the summer as associate dean, having previously served as interim assistant dean for academic affairs at Kent State University at Stark. Christi Simmons, a faculty member/administrator on the Chillicothe campus since 1985, was named to serve as interim associate dean of Ohio University-Chillicothe, effective with the start of fall term. Southern campus faculty member Ella McKown, assistant professor of accounting technology, has been appointed to fill the position of associate dean on that campus.
