Eastern Campus to host fourth annual Community Fall Festival
Kids and adults, crafters and car enthusiasts, local history buffs and vintage 1860’s baseball enthusiasts are invited to attend fourth annual Community Fall Festival at Ohio University Eastern Campus Sunday, Sept. 19 from 1pm – 5pm. Admission and parking is free.
There will be something for everyone in the family at the Community Fall Festival. Children will be able to make crafts, play games, and play on the always-popular inflatables. A car cruise-in and craft show will be taking place for the adults. The Fabulous Bender Boys, a popular local group, is set to provide the musical entertainment from 1pm – 3pm. In addition, several local food vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of food options.
Door prizes will include a $200 gift card from Riesbeck’s and a 25” HD flat panel television from Wal Mart. Tickets for a 50/50 drawing will also be sold.
“The Fall Festival is a great way for us to open our campus to the community, “said Dr. David Castle, co-chair of the festival planning committee. “In the past three years, nearly two thousand people have enjoyed the food, fun, music, cars, crafts and prizes. We hope that everyone will join us on Sept. 19 for what promises to be another great day at Ohio University’s Eastern Campus.”
