Ohio University–Chillicothe offers a two-year program of
study leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree in
environmental engineering technology. This program will
prepare its graduates as environmental professionals to
work with numerous federal, state, and local government
agencies as well as with private field consulting companies
and industry. Graduates will be able to perform environmental
field testing and remediation, develop environmental
programs, and maintain environmental health and safety
control and compliance.

Any Tier II course not already required by the EVT program is acceptable, but you are encouraged to select from distribution areas other than Natural Sciences and Mathematics if you intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
* In special circumstances, students may substitute the CHEM 121 series for the CHEM 151 series, or MATH 115 for MATH 163A. This requires approval by the EVT program coordinator.
