Located near the Ohio River in Ironton, the Southern campus sets at the junction of US 53 and SR 141.
The campus is 82 miles from the Athens campus and it takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to drive from Athens to Southern.
From Columbus: follow US 23 south to Portsmouth, then turn left on US 52 heading east, see approaching from Portsmouth.
From Cincinnati: follow SR 32 east, then US 23 south to Portsmouth, then turn left on US 52 heading east, see approaching from Portsmouth.
From Lexington: follow I-64 east to SR 180 at exit 185, going north; SR 180 turns into US 60; take US 60 north
across the Ohio River, then follow US 52 heading west, see approaching from Ashland.
From Charleston: follow I-64 west to US 52; head north on US 52 across the Ohio River, then, staying on US 52,
