Directions to Ohio University Proctorville Center The Proctorville Center is a satellite of the Southern campus, located in Proctorville, Ohio. The Center is 78 miles from the Athens campus and it takes approximately 2 hours to drive from Athens to the Center. From Ironton, OH/Ashland, KY area – From Ashland take Route 52 in Ohio to Chesapeake; Route 52 actually ends there. Go left toward Proctorville at the end of the exit ramp and you will be on State Route 7. Stay on Route 7 and when you have gone under the big suspension bridge to Huntington you will be in Proctorville. Counting the McDonald's stoplight at the base of the bridge as stoplight #1, turn left at stoplight #3. This is posted as Walnut St (but is also State Route 775). The next intersection is Irene Road and Route 775, where you will see our building on the upper right. From Charleston, WV – West on I-64 to Huntington’s 29th Street exit (Exit 15), then toward Huntington at end of ramp, this is Route 60. From Portsmouth, OH – East on Route 52, past Ironton, to Chesapeake, OH, where Route 52 ends. Go left toward Proctorville at the end of the exit ramp and you will be on State Route 7. Stay on Route 7 and once you've gone under the big suspension bridge to Huntington you will be in Proctorville. Counting the McDonald's stoplight at the base of the bridge as stoplight #1, turn left at stoplight #3. This is posted as Walnut St, but is also State Route 775.
