Ohio University Regional Campuses and Centers provide access to quality learning opportunities for both traditional and non-traditional students, broadening the University experience to those who cannot attend the Athens campus.

Ohio University Regional Campuses and Centers acheive their mission by offering courses and degrees on campuses, through Web-based and video-based distance learning and through professional development and training opportunities across the region.

Ohio University Learning Network

In order to reach out to students from all communities, The Ohio University Regional Campuses and Centers helps fund the Ohio University Learning Network to provide distance learning facilities. Since 1983, the OULN has connected OU's cam puses with interactive televised classes, made possible through two-way microwave towers on each campus and a parallel system of T-1 based video units.
