Regional Campus Faculty Development Resources
Within the broad mission of Ohio University, regional campuses have a specific commitment to outreach and access. Successful pursuit of this commitment requires development of an outstanding faculty.
Following is a brief description of each document. The document can be downloaded in PDF format by selecting and clicking on the appropriate image icon next to the description or in the right column.
Outstanding Professor Award for Regional Campuses
The Outstanding Professor Award for Regional Campuses honors faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Faculty Research Activity Fund
The Faculty Research Activity Fund provides internal support through competitive awards to foster excellence in research and scholarship by Regional Campus faculty.
Undergraduate Research Support Fund
This fund supports the participation of undergraduate regional campus students in the scholarly work of faculty members on the regional campus.
RHE International Travel Fund
The fund supports international travel by faculty members who are making scholarly presentation or serving in a leadership capacity for an international scholarly organization.
Criteria for Promotion and Tenure
These Guidelines are intended to help clarify expectations for performance across Regional Higher Education and to assure general consistency in the evaluation processes followed in the various academic divisions.
Format for the Promotion and Tenure Dossier
The Promotion and Tenure Dossier presents, in summary, your activities and achievements as a developing professional in higher education. These guidelines will help you format the dossier correctly.
