Providing access to a high-quality OHIO education for students throughout southeastern Ohio, that's the regional campus mission. Five campuses and two satellite centers help meet that mission.

Students choose to study at a regional campus for a variety of reasons. Many are working full- or part-time, some are single parents, others are working to improve their job opportunities. Some simply want to live at home while earning a college degree.

OHIO's regional campus students experience a vibrant, student-centered learning environment. Each campus has its own character, but all provide the excellence in education that is an Ohio University tradition.

Regional campus student have options. They can begin their studies at a regional campus and later relocate to the Athens campus to complete their chosen degree. Or they can complete an entire program of study at the regional campus, graduating with an Ohio University degree.

The campuses' open admissions policy allows Ohio high school graduates to be admitted. All students commute; the regional campuses have no residence halls. The campuses also participate in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option Program (PSEOP), enabling high school students to enroll in college-level coursework prior to graduation from high school.
